Job title: Database Reporting Analyst
General Function: Responsible for the data capture, entry, update, reporting and overall management of the Global Contractor’s Database.
Job Description
The Database Reporting Analyst communicates frequently with the Global Contract Manufacturing team members, and cross-functional contacts to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the Contractor’s Database.
It also includes being responsible for the administration of the database that is supported technically by XXX IT and performing user access authorization and training.
The work will emphasize data collection primarily via Excel, retrieval, reporting and analysis.
Specific duties are:
• Execute in-depth analysis and reporting on data collected from main sources, day to day management and trend analysis
• Support management in leading the following reporting functions: data consolidation, management reporting and data analysis.
• Responsible for timely, accurate and complete generation of recurring and ad-hoc reports.
• Responsible for analyzing and recommending improvements for current reporting and data capture as well as uses
• Prioritize planning, reporting and analysis assignments and efforts to ensure all projects and any recurring and ad-hoc reports are completed in sufficient time to support decision makers.
• Prepare MS PowerPoint Presentations as required
Skills/Requirements
The ideal candidate will have minimum of 4-5 years experience working with data management and reporting and ability to grow into a key role in process improvement and identification of new business opportunities via Database analysis.
Qualifications
• Strong quantitative skills with proficiency in the MS Office suite of applications with advanced skills in Excel from both an analytical and database tool perspective.
• High experience with MS PowerPoint for professional presentations is a strong plus.
This needs to be from an analytical side not sales and marketing
• Experience with Access, web technology databases and reporting analytical tools as Business Objects are a plus.
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas and thoughts through a variety of media
• Highly organized self-starter who can own projects and act with limited supervision
• Capability to work & excel in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment with moving deadlines
• Propensity to multitask and prioritize responsibilities on a daily basis, often under pressure
Level of Education Required:
• Bachelor's degree required with preference toward analytical degree programs (e.g., Management Information Systems, Business Operations Management, Finance etc.);
